Privacy policy

This policy covers this website. The short version: we collect your email only if you join the waitlist, we don't run ads or tracking, and we never sell or share your data with treatment brands or pharmacies.
What we collect
- Waitlist sign-ups. If you join the waitlist, we receive your email address, which page you signed up from, and, if you signed up from the quiz results, your estimated Norwood stage.
- Quiz answers. The Norwood quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us unless you join the waitlist from the results screen, and then only the estimated stage is included.
- Basic server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically records technical details such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own site, not from a third party.
How we use it
- To email you when the Rooted app launches, and occasionally with closely related Rooted news. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages bring people to the waitlist, so we know what content is useful.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or give it to any treatment brand, pharmacy, or clinic.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare hosts this website and the database where waitlist sign-ups are stored, and keeps the server logs described above. No separate form or mailing-list service receives your email. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Health information
A Norwood stage estimate relates to your health, so we treat it as sensitive. It is only stored if you choose to submit it with your email, it is used only to tailor what we send you about Rooted, and we will delete it on request.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist data until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or we no longer need it for the waitlist, whichever comes first.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the data we hold about you, or to stop emailing you. Email hello@rootedformen.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example California, Minnesota, or the EU and UK), you may have additional rights under local law, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
The Rooted app
The app isn't available yet. Join the waitlist to hear when it launches. We will publish how the app handles your data before it is released.
Age
Rooted is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has signed up, email hello@rootedformen.com and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will email you first.
