These terms apply to the Rooted website. By using it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Who can use Rooted

You must be at least 18 years old to use this site or join the waitlist.

Not medical advice

Rooted provides general educational information about hair loss. It is not a medical service. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or create a doctor-patient relationship. The Norwood quiz gives a rough self-estimate only. Always talk to a qualified doctor before starting, stopping, or combining any treatment, and never ignore or delay professional advice because of something you read here. If you have a medical emergency, contact local emergency services.

Prices and third parties

Prices on this site are estimates based on typical US cash prices. They change often and may be out of date, so check current prices before you buy. Rooted does not sell medication or treatments, and we are not responsible for products, services, or prices from the pharmacies, clinics, brands, or other third parties we mention. We do not currently earn money from any of them. If that ever changes, we will clearly disclose it on the page where it applies.

The Rooted app

The app, including its paid features, isn't available yet. Join the waitlist to hear when it launches. Separate terms for the app, including any subscription, billing, and cancellation details, will be published before it is released.

Using the site

Please don't:

• Submit someone else's email address to the waitlist, or spam the waitlist form.
• Try to break, overload, or get unauthorized access to the site.
• Copy or republish our content at scale, or present it as your own.

Our content

The text, diagrams, design, and the Rooted name on this site belong to Rooted. You are welcome to read, share links to, and quote short parts of it with credit.

No warranty

We work hard to keep the information accurate and current, but the site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Medical evidence changes, and we can't guarantee that every detail is complete, current, or right for your situation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Rooted is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision you make based on information on this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
